Fashion Design is the art of applying design, aesthetics, and beauty to clothing and other lifestyle accessories. It is influenced by culture and different trends and has varied over time and place.
After completion of the course candidate has plethora of job opportunities such as Fashion Stylist, Fashion Designer, Retail Manager, Personal Shopper, Retail Buyer, Textile Designer, Fashion Designing Instructor etc.
Fashion Design as a profession includes the entire process of designing and producing fashion apparels from the fiber and yarn stage to the finished product. This course will give an overview of fashion design and elaborate on different aspects like elements of design, history of fashion, fabrics, and understanding of the body, pattern development and garment construction.
Fashion is a big business and key driver for several industries.
Eligibility
- 12th from a recognized Board of any discipline.
